Anusha's Story

As a passionate healthcare worker, I understand the importance of mental health. From how we interact with the systems around us to patients on an individual level, it is all connected to compassion, kindness and courage. Every person you meet in the hospital is going through something, and each individual comes with their own story. I love Vulnerable Beauty because of how much they value and care about not only making good quality products but also raising awareness on mental health and the impact it can have on individuals’ lives. As someone like myself who has struggled with anxiety and societal pressures, I’ve found it important to rely on the things I know to be true to guide me not only in how I treat others but myself: with compassion and connection. Furthermore, theatre and stage performance have become an outlet for me to express my creativity and feel comfortable in my skin and with the makeup from Vulnerable Beauty, it reminds me that the lipstick or eyeshadow I wear makes me stronger 💕
