Kyla's Story

As a mother of three and a busy working professional, I cherish my family, friends, and everything in between. Life can be amazing and challenging, sometimes all on the same day. To navigate this, I reflect each morning to set the right mindset, filling my day with more courage, compassion, and connection. I've always loved wearing lip gloss and makeup, and trust me, I’ve tried everything, but Vulnerable Beauty is special. It's not just about adding shine to your lips; it carries a message to your heart when you apply it. Each colour represents something different: COURAGE, COMPASSION, and CONNECTION, symbolizing what you might need to draw upon to get you through your day.

For instance, if you have a big presentation at work, you might apply the Courage lip gloss to bolster your confidence and help you get through the day. I've had those mornings where I look in the mirror and say, "Kyla, you’ve got this," then apply my Courage lip gloss as the finishing touch. I get compliments on my lipstick and how bright and bold it is, and it’s now my trademark and signature! My lipstick is my signature and secret armour in life – the last thing I put on each day, and it makes me feel stronger and true to who I am.

Even the message “I am enough” is so powerful. How amazing to read that every time you pick up your lip gloss? This small, subtle message carries deep meaning for me, reminding me that I AM ENOUGH! Whether in my purse, car or at work, it’s always with me, reinforcing this essential reminder every time I use it.

Compassion is something I strive to embody daily. Putting on the compassion lip gloss reminds me to walk in others' shoes, show empathy, and practice patience. Out in public and even in line at the grocery store, if someone is fumbling around with payments or declined cards, instead of getting impatient about waiting the extra few minutes, try thinking about what they are going through and offer to help pay for something. These things have a ripple effect....be the ripple and a changemaker. I guarantee you – you will feel better every day.

Connection is vital. We are all interconnected on this planet through love. Wearing the connection lip gloss encourages me to foster and cherish those bonds, helping to bridge gaps and strengthen our shared humanity on this planet. Bob Marley said it perfectly: ‘One Love’. The key to that is connection! 😊

I also have three girls, and each of them has a set. The world can be tough, and knowing they have Vulnerable Beauty in their purses or backpacks brings me comfort. It gives them something extra throughout their day that might positively influence their mindset.
